Evening Shift Registered Nurse RN
About The Position
Grey Stone Health & Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time evening shift from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Nurses develop meaningful relationships with residents by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role works within a supportive care team and contributes to coordinated, high-quality resident care. Shift differential and experience pay are provided. Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values.
Responsibilities
- Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
- Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
- Manage medications.
- Maintain a respectful and positive work environment.
