About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) on a 24-bed general medical unit specializing in Respiratory care with integrated Telemetry monitoring. The unit is described as fast-paced, offering variety, and a place to build expertise in respiratory and telemetry care. Patients include a diverse mix of medical and surgical patients, with some transitioning from critical care. The RN will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
