Registered Nurse RN Nursing Resource Pool
About The Position
Chelsea Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Nursing Resource Pool. The position provides quality, patient-centered care that considers patients’ age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. Nurses integrate relationship-based care into their practice and serve as clinical and educational resources to others on the unit. The resource pool provides increased scheduling flexibility, with nurses floating only at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea. Pool nurses may work in Atrium East (Med/Surg), Atrium West and Courtyard Rehab (Inpatient Rehabilitation), or Courtyard East (Med/Surg). The hospital provides focused orientation and training on its equipment, processes, and procedures. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position with 72 hours per pay period. The available shift is 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every-third-weekend and holiday requirements.
Requirements
- Current Michigan nursing license.
- At least one year of recent medical-surgical or higher-acuity nursing experience.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- New hires must have a BSN or agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
