About The Position

The Registered Nurse delivers safe, effective, quality, patient- and family-centered care in the operating room and other areas of perioperative services for all patient populations. The role serves as a patient advocate and is accountable for meeting surgical nursing practice standards. The stated shift is 6:30 AM–3:00 PM. Holiday coverage is not required.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program.
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care by assessing patient needs, establishing nursing diagnoses, and developing care plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support thorough patient assessments and comprehensive care.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassess patients as necessary.
• Manage patient pain using appropriate pain management techniques.
• Implement age-specific care practices and comply with training standards.
• Maintain effective communication and teamwork with personnel involved in patient care.
