About The Position
The Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse provides direct care and influences care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but at elevated risk for instability. The PCU delivers care using advanced knowledge and experience in an environment equipped for advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions.
Requirements
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
- AHA ACLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent verification required due to regulatory requirements for moderate complexity testing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in PCU.
- Basic EKG experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but at elevated risk for instability.
- Influence patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
