About The Position

Join Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as a full-time, night-shift Inpatient Specialty Post-Surgical Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. The RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents patient care in accordance with HHS standards and applicable patient-care policies and procedures. The role requires providing care appropriate to the ages and developmental needs of patients served on the assigned unit and complying with the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act. Requirements

Associate’s degree in nursing.
Current Oklahoma RN licensure.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care activities in accordance with HHS standards and patient-care policies and procedures.
Provide care appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned unit.
Apply knowledge of growth and development across the life span; assess patient-status data and interpret information to identify age-specific patient needs.
Develop, modify, and implement patient care plans in accordance with HHS standards.
Adhere to the rules and regulations of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
