About The Position
Community Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Post-Surgical extended-stay unit. The nurse will care for patients recovering from orthopedic and other procedures in a supportive, collaborative environment, working alongside experienced nurses, surgeons, and therapists to support mobility, pain management, and successful recovery. The role offers an opportunity to build post-operative nursing skills while contributing to the hospital’s mission of making communities healthier.
Requirements
- Current Montana RN license or Compact RN license with Montana endorsement.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
- At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- 2–3 years of acute care nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse post-surgical needs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and discharge plans.
- Advocate for patients and foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence in care.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
