Requirements

Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
Possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license at the time of appointment
Ability to perform essential job functions
Pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements

Responsibilities

Carry out nursing care plans by checking vital signs, administering medications, completing treatments, and supporting daily living activities
Evaluate patient needs, assist with examinations, deliver immunizations and screenings, and provide health counseling
Perform assessments and deliver first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), or automated external defibrillator (AED) care before referring patients for advanced medical support
Record information in the electronic health record, prepare reports, and maintain accurate medication and substance records
Sterilize instruments, track supplies, and maintain adequate stock levels in treatment areas
Attend required training sessions and stay informed about policy and procedure updates
