About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry for an upcoming contract position. The ideal candidate has a background in orthopedic and spine care and can provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting. The role includes floating to acute care units as needed. Orientation combines in-person and virtual training, including Epic EMR training. This is a nicotine-free facility, and adherence to facility policies and protocols is expected.

Requirements

• Current Kansas RN or Compact RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 18 months of hospital nursing experience, specifically in orthopedic and spine care.
• New graduates will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret telemetry readings, and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.
• Participate in unit orientation and training programs.
• Float to acute care units as necessary based on patient care needs.
