About The Position

Join the highly skilled IV Therapy team to provide specialized vascular access care for patients across hospital and clinic settings. The role involves working independently, responding to urgent patient needs, and collaborating with nursing professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. It is suited to experienced RNs who enjoy autonomous work, fast-paced environments, and vascular access care across multiple settings.

The position is 0.6 FTE, or 48 hours every two weeks, with 12-hour rotating day shifts (6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.) and night shifts (6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.); the position will primarily be nights at this time. The schedule includes every third weekend and two holidays per year.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility to practice in Wisconsin.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.

Nice To Haves

• Previous acute care RN experience.
• Experience with IV therapy, vascular access, ultrasound-guided IV placement, or central lines.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular access procedures, including peripheral IV insertion, ultrasound-guided IV placement, PICC line insertion, and central line lab draws.
• Respond to codes and medical emergencies as a vascular access resource.
• Provide care for patients of all ages across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with care teams to support safe and effective vascular access management.
