About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides skilled home health nursing visits to patients in Sumter County. The role includes completing OASIS assessments and documentation, developing and managing individualized care plans, educating patients and caregivers on disease management and safety, coordinating care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and monitoring patient progress and communicating changes in condition. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling, local patient assignments, and the opportunity to support patients in healing, recovering, and maintaining independence at home.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN license.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred.
- OASIS experience preferred.
