About The Position

CoxHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Medical ICU (MICU) at CoxHealth South. This full-time night shift position involves providing exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. The role offers opportunities for professional growth through in-hospital credentialing classes, a pay-it-forward program for certification exams, and a clinical ladder program that can provide bonuses up to $5,000 annually. The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing patient care, assessing conditions, administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, keeping records, and providing patient and family support and education. This role requires broad medical care knowledge to serve a diverse patient population.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
RN license active in the state of Missouri.
BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate effective leadership abilities.
Exhibits valuable time management skills.
Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Previous nursing experience.
