About The Position
Centurion Health is partnering with the state of Indiana to provide medical and behavioral health services to the Indiana Department of Corrections. We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Correctional Industrial Facility in Pendleton, Indiana. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor. This role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state compact license
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
