About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides patient care using the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—in alignment with the organization’s mission. The role organizes and supervises care provided by supportive personnel and coordinates care delivered by ancillary services. The nurse includes patients and their significant others or families in developing individualized plans of care, educates them about disease processes and care plans, and serves as a patient advocate. Care may involve patients receiving treatment for medical, surgical, or other conditions, including chronic medical conditions and minor injuries or illnesses. Diploma-prepared nurses must have more than five years of progressive care experience.
