About The Position
Leon Medical Centers is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Urgent Care team at the West Hialeah Center. The RN delivers and coordinates professional nursing care in collaboration with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. The role ensures high-quality care in compliance with established nursing standards, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements. The position is located at 2020 W 64th Street, Hialeah, FL 33016. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with rotating weekend and holiday coverage.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and deliver nursing care to meet patient needs in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including collecting and documenting medical histories and monitoring ongoing conditions.
- Accurately take and record vital signs; administer treatments; dress wounds; and observe patients for reactions to medications or procedures.
- Respond promptly, efficiently, and professionally to urgent and emergency situations.
- Maintain compliance with infection control standards, OSHA requirements, and patient safety protocols.
- Document care accurately and promptly in the medical record.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of clinic operations.
