About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the general supervision and coordination of nursing personnel activities during shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care. The RN utilizes the nursing process for patient assessments, care planning, and intervention performance. The RN collaborates with Physicians and other healthcare clinicians in the planning and implementation of patient care. This position may involve additional duties within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required.
• Degree in Nursing required.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety, and infection control standards.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
• Continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
• Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
• Much exposure to computer work.
• Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
• Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
• Some exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Occasional exposure to radiation.

Nice To Haves

• BSN degree preferred.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities
