About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients on a specific unit during a shift. The RN is responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice, managing assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit, and promoting collaboration with all members of the health care team. This is a full-time Emergency Department position with a 7 a.m.–7 p.m. schedule.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Alabama or multistate RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Emergency Department experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients during a shift.
• Meet the Standards of Practice.
• Manage assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit.
• Promote collaboration with all members of the health care team.
