About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) works in a variety of emergency department areas, including ED Major, ED Minor, Fast Track, or the Clinical Throughput Unit. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients during a shift. The role is responsible for meeting Standards of Practice, managing assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit, and promoting collaboration with all members of the health care team.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted Alabama or Multi-State RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Two years of ED RN experience required for the contract position.

Nice To Haves

• PALS certification.
• TNCC certification.

Responsibilities
