About The Position
The Staff Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate each patient’s plan of care. The nurse serves as the primary caregiver, provides direct patient care, and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients’ families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and making decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The position works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing. This is a part-time position on the 1A Inpatient Psych Unit in Chillicothe, working two night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every third weekend required. Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using nursing skills and processes.
