About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is hiring a full-time weekender night Registered Nurse for the CDH Neuro Intermediate (3B), a 24-bed neurosciences unit caring for patients who need medical and surgical treatment for acute neurological and spine disorders. Conditions include traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, spinal injury, seizures, and acute CNS inflammation or infections. Neurosurgical care includes aneurysm repair, CSF leaks and lumbar drains, and postoperative neurosurgical and spinal care. The unit is proud to rank in the country’s top decile for patient satisfaction. The position is 36 hours per week (0.9 FTE) on the night shift. The job posting offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, subject to eligibility restrictions: current employees and rehires who left Northwestern Medicine within one year are not eligible, with a stated exception for new graduate internal employees seeking their first licensed clinical Registered Nurse position at Northwestern Medicine. Compensation is $37.00–$60.98 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical abilities.
