About The Position
American Senior Communities is hiring a Registered Nurse at Avalon Village. The role offers the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. Nurses use their skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being, providing a rewarding sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. The position is full-time, with evening and night shifts, and offers $40–$44 per hour plus a $10,000 retention bonus. Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet and exceed residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
- Work with the team toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
- Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
- Manage medications proficiently.
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
- Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being.
