About The Position

Overlake is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Perioperative Care Unit (PCU), which prepares patients for surgical procedures. Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery. This is a per diem role. Available schedules include day shifts from 0530–1400, evening shifts from 1300–2130, and Saturday/Sunday shifts from 0530–1400. The schedule is three 8-hour shifts or a combination of 4-, 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts per four-week schedule. One summer holiday call shift and one winter holiday call shift are required. The hourly pay range is $50.72–$90.17.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State; a multi-state license from a Compact state or a Washington license is accepted.
• At least 5 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• Healthcare provider CPR certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• RNs hired into units requiring cardiac rhythm interpretation competency must take a rhythm assessment during their first week, covering standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and paced rhythms.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Recent Pre-op/Phase II nursing experience strongly preferred.
