About The Position

Overlake is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Perioperative Care Unit (PCU), which prepares patients for surgical procedures. Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery.

This is a per diem position with day and evening shifts and weekend scheduling options. The schedule includes three 8-hour shifts or a combination of 4-, 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts per four-week schedule. One summer holiday call shift and one winter holiday call shift are required.

The posted hourly pay range is $50.72–$90.17. Pay may vary based on relevant experience and internal equity, and some positions may offer additional pay based on shift, certification, or education level.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State; a multistate license from a compact state may qualify.
• At least 5 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• Healthcare provider CPR certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• For RNs hired into units requiring cardiac rhythm interpretation competency, complete a rhythm assessment during the first week covering standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and paced rhythms.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Recent Pre-op/Phase II nursing experience strongly preferred.
