About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The role is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating assigned staff’s patient-care activities to provide quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting; one year in a hospital setting is preferred for PRN positions.
• Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
