Registered Nurse | Orthopedic Unit
About The Position
CentraCare is hiring a Registered Nurse for the award-winning Orthopedic Unit at St. Cloud Hospital, a high-volume joint replacement hospital. The 29-bed unit cares for children and adults with a range of orthopedic conditions, including joint replacements, sports medicine conditions, and fractures caused by accidents or other trauma. The unit uses a team nursing approach. This is a full-time, onsite position working 72 hours per two-week pay period on 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The schedule includes every other weekend (Friday through Sunday) and rotating holidays. Pay is based on experience and degree, with a stated range of $42.86–$71.51 per hour. Eligible candidates may receive hiring and relocation bonuses. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Minnesota RN license.
- BSN required within three years.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to children and adults with orthopedic conditions, including joint replacements, sports medicine conditions, and fractures resulting from accidents or other trauma.
- Support patients through elective procedures and traumatic events, helping them work toward their goals and return to their prior level of functioning.
- Participate in the unit’s team nursing approach.
