About The Position
Anew Behavioral Health is a substance abuse treatment agency specializing in housing, supportive, and clinical services for individuals in recovery. Its strengths-based program is rooted in positive psychology principles. The Registered Nurse provides essential nursing care and health assessments to clients in a behavioral health setting, primarily male clients. The role includes conducting comprehensive health assessments after intake, managing ongoing health needs, and integrating physical and mental health care. The nurse works closely with clinical teams to provide holistic care and support the well-being of clients in recovery and treatment programs. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
Requirements
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- NPI/Medicaid Provider Number.
- Knowledge of behavioral health interventions and best practices for integrated care.
- Pass a BCI background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or psychiatric nursing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments and documentation.
- Manage medications.
- Coordinate care.

- Support detoxification and withdrawal management.
