About The Position

BAYADA Hospice is seeking a compassionate, dedicated full-time Registered Nurse to join its hospice team based in Pennsauken, New Jersey. The office serves hospice clients in Camden and Burlington counties on a per-visit basis. The hospice nurse is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team, providing palliative care that helps clients receive the medical care they need while remaining at home. The position involves home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories and may include occasional after-hours or weekend on-call work. Prior home care or hospice experience is strongly preferred but is not required.

Requirements

Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Have at least one year of recent, verifiable clinical medical/surgical experience.
Have solid computer skills.
Be able to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

Prior home care and/or hospice experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort care.
Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform client assessments as necessary.
Provide occasional on-call coverage after hours and/or on weekends.
