About The Position

The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The role directs and guides patient and family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for care provided to assigned patients. They communicate with physicians about changes in a patient’s clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptoms, and respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Requirements

Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Previous acute care hospital experience.
Ventilator management experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
