About The Position

St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Heart Care Specialists. The nurse is responsible for nursing activities in the office and coordinating clinical and patient medical care duties, including patient education. The role serves as the practice’s primary triage person and assists with front- and back-office duties as needed. The nurse is expected to work cooperatively with other departments, promote teamwork, and perform duties accurately and promptly while adhering to established policies and nursing standards and acting consistently with the hospital’s mission and values.

Requirements

Nursing degree.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri.
Maturity, flexibility, and effective organization and communication skills when dealing with others.

Responsibilities

Coordinate office nursing activities and clinical and patient medical care duties.
Provide patient education.
Act as the primary triage person in the practice.
Assist with front- and back-office duties as needed.
Work cooperatively with other departments and promote teamwork within the department.
Perform duties accurately and in a timely manner.
Adhere to established policies and nursing standards.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
