This full-time, day shift opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the new Weaver 6 General PCU team at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. The RN will provide care to patients requiring treatment for various medical, surgical, or other conditions, including chronic illnesses and minor injuries. The role involves educating patients and families, interacting with physicians and other hospital departments, and serving as a patient advocate. The RN will also participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.

Requirements

1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
Hospital Experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required (American Heart Association)
Licensed Registered Nurse Required
Associate of Science in Nursing Required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred

Responsibilities
