About The Position
Registered Nurse providing emergency department care at SMMC Emergency, an acute care hospital. The position has a 12 noon start time. The facility has 212 staffed beds and uses Epic for charting. The position is offered at an elevated seasonal rate through 3/1/27. The facility may call off once per two-week pay period. Local radius is 50 miles; applicants within that radius should contact the account manager about the local rate. Start date is ASAP.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Epic experience is required.
- ACLS certification is required.
- BCLS certification is required.
- NIH certification is required.
- PALS certification is required.
- Pending license is not accepted.
- Any requested time off must be included at the time of submission.
Nice To Haves
- Community hospital experience is preferred.
- First-time travelers are considered.
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at the manager’s discretion.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency department nursing care at a 1:4 patient ratio.
- Work every other weekend; weekend frequency may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.
- Be available to work 3 of the 5 major holidays.
- Float is not required.
- On-call work is not required.
