Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis Lead - FT Days | Sussex Rehab
About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Lead Dialysis Registered Nurse at Sussex Rehab. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit. The nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources. The role may include other related duties as assigned or requested. Lead Dialysis Nurses oversee physician-ordered dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure. The position is full-time and on days.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state where applying.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification is required after 90 days of employment; it is required from day one for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification initially.
- Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC).
Responsibilities
- Use the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit.
- Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
- Teach patients and families about post-hospitalization care.
- Access community resources for patients.
- Oversee physician-ordered dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties when applicable.
