About The Position

The Registered Nurse is part of a dedicated team providing compassionate, patient-focused care and facilitating quality healthcare through competent clinical practice. The role involves preventing, assessing, and resolving patient health issues while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The nurse delivers care in accordance with professional and ethical standards and applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. The position may require coverage for holiday shifts.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved nursing education program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited organization, obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Ability to perform very heavy work, including regularly exerting significant force and occasional exposure to challenging physical conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Five or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to collect comprehensive data relevant to patients’ health.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement care plans and ensure patient progression.
• Coordinate care delivery and promote health through teaching and health-promotion strategies.
• Consult with advanced practice nurses and nursing role specialists to enhance care plans.
• Evaluate progress toward patient outcomes and adjust plans as necessary.
• Support peers’ professional development and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into practice.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
