About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in a multi-specialty environment that includes pain management, specialty clinics such as podiatry and general surgery, and labor and delivery services. The role includes operating-room patient care, procedural monitoring, clinic support, and assistance with labor and delivery, including C-sections. Scheduled on-call availability is required specifically for OB C-sections. Available schedules are 8-hour days, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday, or 10-hour days across four days per week. Nurses can choose their preferred shift after starting. Scrubs are provided during employment. The electronic medical record system is CPSI-Evident, with OB-specific documentation managed through PeriGen. Local hotel and rental accommodations are available.
Requirements
- Current active Kansas nursing license or a multistate nursing license.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Strong background in Critical Access Hospital (CAH) settings.
- Experience in central sterile procedures.
