About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the GI Lab. The role involves patient care in a procedural setting, with a focus on procedural recovery, PACU, and telemetry. Responsibilities include admitting patients, recovering patients in Phase II, and assisting in the procedure room as needed. The position may require floating between multiple locations in the region. Full-time positions are available, with start times varying between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM and an average of 36–40 hours per week. Orientation begins on a Monday and is expected to last 6–8 hours for EKG testing, modules, and Epic test-out. There are also 16 non-billable orientation hours. Weekend and holiday work is not required. Credentials are due the Thursday before the start date. Payroll is processed biweekly through a designated system.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- A valid Illinois RN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Pass the EKG test with a score of 80% or higher.
- Submit an updated resume, two current references, and a completed skills checklist.
Nice To Haves
- Travel or PRN experience is preferred.
