PRN RN Float Mid Shift Freestanding Emergency Department

About The Position
The Registered Nurse Float provides direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients in a freestanding emergency department from admission through discharge. The nurse reviews and documents care provided, patient outcomes, and evaluations of care, and follows professional standards of care. This is a PRN position on a mid shift.
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in Kentucky.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within three years of hire.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within two years of hire.
- Complete mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training before the end of the orientation period and maintain it annually.
Responsibilities
