Registered Nurse-New Grad and New to Specialty-Emergency Department-Temecula Valley
About The Position
Temecula Valley Hospital will be starting an Emergency Department (ED) New to Specialty/New Grad Program beginning August 10, 2026. This is a 12-week training program for RN's (New Grads or New to Specialty) that would like to join the amazing staff in ED. This is a blended learning experience including computer-based learning modules and testing, didactic and hands-on classroom learning, and Clinical Preceptoring. The deadline to apply is June 9th. Requirements
- Current California RN license
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required
- NIHSS required within 5 days of hire
- CPI certified within 90 days of hire
- Two Letters of Recommendation required at time of interview
- For New to Specialty: Minimum one (1) year acute (hospital) care experience required.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a 12-week training program for RN's (New Grads or New to Specialty) in the Emergency Department.
- Engage in blended learning experiences including computer-based learning modules and testing.
- Participate in didactic and hands-on classroom learning.
- Undergo Clinical Preceptoring.
