About The Position
Six bed MOSU that provides comprehensive nursing care for post-surgical patients, post cardiac catheterizations with post PCI, respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, AKI, unstable arrhythmias, are examples of types of patients.
Requirements
- Critical care nursing
Responsibilities
- Initiation/titration/management of vasopressors, thrombolytics, antihypertensives, antidiabetics and sedation
- Ventilator management
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Sepsis management
- Central line management
- Arterial line management
- Chest tube management
- Blood administration
- Ability to float to Med/Surg, Tele, Step-Down, Observation floors
