About The Position
Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342 Department: 640A – Intensive Care Unit Contract: 13 Weeks Schedule: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3×12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week Local Candidates: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Nice To Haves
- CCRN and NIHSS certifications preferred.
- Experience with General Medical-Surgical ICU patients preferred.
- Cerner EMR experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Document patient care activities.
- Work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
