About The Position

Women’s and Children’s Specialists is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for a practice role. The nurse provides clinical expertise to help ensure patients receive high-quality, efficient care. The schedule is Monday through Friday during the day, with no nights, on-call shifts, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities include managing patient flow; screening and preparing patients for exams; providing general nursing care; arranging testing and admissions; instructing patients and families about medications and treatment; maintaining patient records and posting test and examination results; administering medications according to physician orders; checking rooms for supplies; and responding to and referring incoming calls, including phone triage when needed. The nurse is expected to follow the organization’s Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of registered nursing.
• Hold a Registered Nurse license in accordance with state regulations.
• List current license information on the application.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of experience as a registered nurse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow, including screening and preparing patients for exams, providing general nursing care, and arranging testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records, including posting test and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
