About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is part of ProMedica’s patient care team and provides patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. The RN coordinates each patient’s plan of care and communicates with patients, families, and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN assesses patients and formulates nursing diagnoses, then plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of care plans. The role works collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and improve patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. The position is in the Psychiatric Unit at Flower Hospital.

Requirements

Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR training.
Complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during the Ohio licensure period, including at least 1 contact hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
