About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is part of ProMedica’s patient care team and provides patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. The RN coordinates a patient’s plan of care, communicating with patients, families, and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN assesses the patient, formulates a nursing diagnosis, and plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of the care plan. The RN collaborates with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and contributes to improving patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. This position is in the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at Flower Hospital. It is full-time, with 36 weekly hours on day shift.

Requirements

Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR training.
Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
For RNs in Ohio, complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during each licensure period, including at least 1 contact hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio Nurse Practice Code and Rules.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
