About The Position

This unit is part of a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence and provides comprehensive care for complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions. The role involves acting as an advocate for patients, families, and significant others.

Requirements

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• Diploma in Nursing (Required)
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, brain injury, brain tumors, spinal injury, and spine tumors.
• Act as an advocate for patients, families, and significant others.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and shared governance.
