About The Position
The University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank Campus is looking for a savvy Registered Nurse to join our team of talented healthcare providers! The RN on the Neuroscience unit provides care to adult patients with complex medical conditions which require close observation, monitoring and interventions, including but not limited to neurological, neurosurgical, ENT and trauma patients. Our team provides advanced monitoring using current technology, manages complex medication and infusion therapies. In addition, we care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit. This position works a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 week pay period) on the evening shifts (3:00pm-11:30pm), 8 hour shifts and every other weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
Requirements
- MN RN Licensure
- BLS
- AD
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one year current medical surgical RN experience in a hospital setting
- BSN preferred
- Certification in a related specialty is highly desired.
