About The Position

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking passionate and caring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team for 8-hour Palliative Care Shifts (23:00 to 07:00) in Ottawa and surrounding areas. As a member of the team, RNs will provide exceptional nursing care with compassion, excellence, and responsiveness, ensuring clients are treated with respect, dignity, and kindness. The role involves using clinical judgment and skills to deliver high-quality care in the comfort and safety of clients' homes. This position reports to the office at 310 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, Ontario.

Requirements

RN level nurses who have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
Hold a current registration with the provincial licensing body
Current CPR certification required
Clear criminal background check (with vulnerable sector screening)
Negative TB test
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle
Availability to work 8-hour shifts from 23:00 to 07:00
Excellent assessment, documentation, and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional Nursing care
Ensure clients are treated with respect, dignity, and kindness
Use clinical judgment and skills to ensure clients receive the highest quality care
Deliver nursing care with compassion, excellence, and responsiveness
Provide overnight care, primarily in a palliative setting
