RPN/LPN Community Shift Nursing
About The Position
Registered Practical Nurses (RPN/LPN) for 8 - Hour Palliative Care Shifts (pediatric to geriatric) 23:00 to 07:00 Shifts. Bayshore HealthCare is one of Canada’s leading providers of home and community health care services. Bayshore is looking for passionate and caring Registered Practical Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses to join our amazing team of healthcare professionals. You will utilize your clinical expertise to ensure our clients receive the highest quality Nursing care, tailored to their unique needs and preferences. Delivered with empathy, excellence, and reliability, our care prioritizes the comfort and safety of our clients in their own care setting. Palliative care experience is an asset but not necessary. As our clients vary in age, you must be comfortable providing care for the pediatric to geriatric age range. You will have the opportunity for growth and development with paid training opportunities. You will feel challenged while you use your clinical nursing skills to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality home health care they need and deserve. You will deliver care with compassion, excellence and reliability.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited/recognized School of Nursing (evidence required)
- Current RPN or LPN registration (in good standing) with the applicable provincial licensing body
- Valid CPR certification
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Availability to work 8-hour shifts from 23:00 to 07:00
- Comfortable working with clients of all ages, pediatric to geriatric
- Excellent assessment, documentation, verbal and written communication skills
- A clear criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening
- Proof of being free from TB
- Two supervisory references
