About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced Emergency Department in Austin, Texas. The department has 32+ beds, 117 staff members, and a 4:1 patient ratio. The role involves working night shifts with rotating weekends and using Meditech EMR. The department is recognized for excellence and community engagement, including participation in annual events and team-building activities. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs and a navy blue zip-up sweater; pull-over sweatshirts are not acceptable.

Requirements

• Current TNCC, ENPC, ACLS, and BLS certifications must be obtained by the start date.
• Be a team player who anticipates the needs of patients and the department and contributes to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Perform procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, and trauma care.
• Assist with laceration repairs, suture removals, and splinting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to anticipate and meet patient needs.
