About The Position
Central Regional Hospital is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to work as a Nurse Facilitator in the Psychosocial Treatment Department. This primary duties of this position includes counseling interventions to assist patients in improving or regaining previous coping abilities as well as fostering mental health and preventing deterioration of mental illness and disability. This position attends and participates in treatment planning meetings as scheduled. This position provides in-service training to staff throughout the hospital as assigned by supervisor. When necessary, this position covers other assigned duties of PST staff.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.

- Knowledge of medications and drugs, common dosages, their psychological, physical and physiological effects and possible adverse reactions
- Knowledge of abnormal signs and symptoms relating to physical and mental illness, as well as indicators of wellness
- Ability to lead a team; skill in delegation and making assignments
