About The Position
The Clinical Nurse II provides professional nursing care to patients and families in the operating room at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. The nurse integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical experience, uses a deliberate and systematic approach to care, and develops awareness of patterns in patient responses. The role requires mastery of most technical skills and a patient- and family-focused perspective. The nurse also supervises and directs delegated nursing acts according to the supervised person's education and demonstrated abilities. Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital has eight operating rooms and performs general and vascular, orthopedic, urology, gynecology, and ophthalmology procedures. As an Orthopedic Center of Excellence, it offers a range of orthopedic procedures, including same-day total joint procedures. The Surgical Services team uses a collaborative approach, supported by an integrated ancillary team, to provide high-quality, safe care. The department strives to deliver exceptional, individualized care and outstanding service and outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Wisconsin Registered Nurse License.
- Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients and families in clinical areas as required by staffing matrices.

- Participate in an on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays.
