About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides leadership and oversight of resident care in assisted living and memory care. The RN delivers person-centered programs that address residents’ physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs while coaching and training care staff. The role includes coordinating care, maintaining health records and medication documentation, communicating health concerns, supporting regulatory compliance, and responding to emergencies. The position provides 24/7 on-site coverage and participates in safety committees.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Minnesota.
- Two years of experience with dementia care and managing care teams.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overnight travel.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and coordinate resident care programs; complete assessments and service plans.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) and electronic medication administration records (EMAR).
- Monitor medications and ensure accurate documentation.
- Communicate health concerns to doctors, families, and staff.
- Train, coach, and evaluate Resident Assistants and nursing team members.
- Lead orientations and in-service trainings.
- Uphold HIPAA requirements, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide 24/7 on-site coverage and respond to emergencies.
- Participate in safety committees.
